Melvyn Caplan has been a councillor for Little Venice Ward since 1990 and has lived in the area for over 25 years. Melvyn is currently the cabinet member for finance, resources and customer services. A former leader of the council, he spent 25 years of his working career as an executive at IBM and now spends the majority of his week on council activity. He also serves on the neighbourhood police committee. In his spare time, he enjoys going to the gym and watching most sports.
Cllr Ian Adams
Ian Adams was first elected to Westminster Council in 2002. He has lived in W2 for 20 years and his interests include services for children; elderly care; and local housing provision. Ian chairs the council's Policy and Scrutiny Committee which monitors services for children, young people and community services. He also sits on the board of CityWest Homes and is a governor of City of Westminster College. He is employed by a major outsourcing firm.
Cllr Barbara Arzymanow
Barbara Arzymanow has lived in Little Venice Ward for nearly 30 years, during which she married and raised four sons. She has fought successful campaigns over education, healthcare and the preservation of our local heritage. Barbara is a director of a Westminster-based business that she co-founded in 1999. She strongly believes in listening to residents. She would provide a strong voice for her community and looks forward to throwing plenty of energy into helping you.
