A major planning application at 36-44 Lodge Road has had several amendments made to it as a result of your Regent's Park councillors' efforts.
The original plans for the former EDF site near included the demolition of existing structures and development of buildings to extend between five and twelve storys and comprising 132 self-contained private and affordable residential flats.
Cllr Robert Rigby queried whether the plans had taken account of the loss of light and quality of life in the area.
Cllr Rigby said: "The developer did listen to the objections raised and amendments were made to the structure to meet some of them. In this instance, residents views were listened to and acted upon. If local residents wish to have our help on any other local planning matter, they are very welcome to get in touch with us."
