Residents in St John’s Wood Road have praised the quick action of local Regent’s Park councillors who prevented Transport for London (TfL) from carrying out loud road resurfacing works overnight for three weeks.

The bridge and an adjacent section of Porchester Road will be closed to northbound traffic from 27 October to 7 December in order to remove the two water mains that cross Lord Hill’s Bridge.

Major pavement improvement works along Belgrave Road have been undertaken to repair the broken paving slabs in Warwick Square and Eccleston Square.
