Transport for London has begun work on the Harrow Road and Edgware Road junction, including - in spite of your Little Venice councillors’ objections - banning the left turn from Harrow Road to Edgware Road northbound.

Successful Local Police Panel held at Lords Cricket Ground

Your councillors have been actively supporting the local ward police panel. This regular forum allows key local stakeholders to meet with police officers to discuss local crime and anti-social behaviour matters. The most recent meeting occurred was held at Lord’s Cricket Ground.

Food-waste recycling trial

Westminster City Council is introducing a food waste recycling trial at Churchill Gardens in autumn 2019. The estate is part of city-wide trial with around 7,500 households taking part across Westminster. It may expand further in the future.

Fleming Court - security works to begin

5 Kingdom Street - planning application rejected

As we have previously advised, we have been campaigning against the proposal to erect a 19-storey office building at this site in Paddington Basin, currently the location of Pergola Paddington.

Air Quality Action!

Your local councillors arranged for an Air Quality Action Day in the West End on 20th January and were joined by local residents and workers to assist Westminster Council’s  air quality marshals to speak with drivers about the harmful effects of engine idling.  

Christchurch Gardens Improvements

Work has started on a major refurbishment of Christchurch Gardens on the junction of Victoria Street and Broadway.

Clifton Road Christmas Lights delight local community

Your Little Venice councillors and local traders helped to bring some additional festive cheer to the shopping parade on Clifton Road by supporting Christmas lights that illuminated the street over the end-of-year period.
