Your Councillors have long been concerned about the level of antisocial behaviour taking place around Great Peter Street and Monck Street. We have held a number of community meetings in 2022 and have set up an online task group to better communicate with the hostels managers, police and neighbours affected.
Actions from these meetings are being undertaken, which include designing out problematic street features especially on the corner of Monck Street, street lighting audits, victim statements taken and Police visits to the hostels.
