Too many EBikes are obstructing footpaths

Local news from

Many residents are expressing concern about how these 'personal transportation devices' are obstructing footways. While we recognise the benefits of easily accessible e-scooters and e-cycles, we know they must be used responsibly without increasing risk and danger to others on our public highways.

As you may be aware, operators such as Lime, Dott, Human Forest and TIER are participating in an e-scooter and cycle time limited trial:

Conservative Councillors are actively lobbying Westminster City Council to ensure the operators run a responsible service if these e-scooters and e-bikes are to be available on a permanent basis.

In the meantime, when you come across dumped e-bikes, the Council advises you to use the Report It feature on the council website and also to report dumped bikes to the operators listed below:

Lime - London-Ops@li.me

Dott  - ops.uk@ridedott.com

Human Forest caroline.seton@humanforest.co.uk

Please also feel free to send us photos of bikes that are blocking the footpaths or anything else that is concerning you at:
