Fly Tipping

Your Conservative councillors ensured rubbish left in Cambridge Square was quickly removed.  We are in touch with our City Inspectors each week to ensure hotspot locations are regularly visited and cleared.

Conservative-run Westminster council has TRIPLED the total of enforcement actions against fly-tipping and other waste offences this October, compared to October two years ago, before the pandemic.

In October 2021, the Council carried out a total of 1,757 waste investigations, issues of fixed penalty notices and warnings to residents. The fixed penalty element of that total has almost doubled, to over 800 in the month, compared to October 2019. Fines can be as high as £400.

A message from Cllr Rachael Robathan

Wednesday, 11 May, 2022

Last week, people across Westminster went to the polls to decide our new Council.

I am devastated we were unable to return a Conservative majority to City Hall. We could have barely got closer. If fewer than 100 people had voted differently, we could have retained control.
