It’s been a busy few weeks. I launched the police petition, which you can sign here, and have received a phenomenal response. So many of you have said they would feel safer with more police presence.
Laila Cunningham has lived in Lancaster Gate for over 10 years. She is a tech founder and runs her own start-up that helps connect female remote workers to work together. Laila is also a former Senior Crown Prosecutor. She was first elected in May 2022.
Lancaster Gate lies in the west of Westminster. It is bordered to the east by Hyde Park, to the south-east by Knightsbridge and Belgravia and to the northwest by Bayswater.
We have been amazed by the outcry from local people following the new Labour administration’s announcement of a 45% pay rise for senior councillors last week.
