Royal Albert Hall

It's great to see how well used the improvements to the pavements and highway around the Royal Albert Hall are.

We worked closely with the management of the RAH and local amenity groups before the Council delivered a scheme to expand significantly the pedestrian area around the Hall as well as a level crossing on Kensington Gore to link the Hall and the Albert Memorial in the Park.

Not only does this mean that there is now sufficient room for visitors to move safely around outside the Hall but it is also much safer for local people to access the park, particularly those with pushchairs or the elderly.
