Star Street Rubbish Dumping

Rubbish

We are well aware of the trouble Star Street has had with fly-tipping, so we understood why local people put up signs stating that Westminster City Council is watching and will pursue people who dump rubbish.

We have increased enforcement actions over recent months, taking action against those to be found to be dumping illegally.

However, some of the red-topped signs were dangerous and they were also inaccurate. The council has now put in big, new, accurate signage, which should help deter irresponsible and anti-social fly-tippers.

The Council continues to issue warning letters across Westminster, over 400 in January, and Fixed Penalty Notices, almost 600 in January, for people who fail to keep our city clean.
