Stockley House Tower

We have been shown plans for the redevelopment of Stockley House in Wilton Road, which has been unoccupied for a number of years.

We were shocked to learn that the plans included a 90 metre high tower, which would be the same height as the Nova Building in Victoria Street.

Cllr Jacqui Wilkinson:

We welcome some aspects of the plans for developing Stockley House, including improved greenery in Bridge Place. However we are very concerned about the proposed tower, which would dominate nearby properties and be out of character with the current streetscape. We welcome the views of residents about this proposal and will be keeping you informed as we find out more.
