Electric Car

Last week, the Evening Standard revealed that Westminster is the London borough with the most electric car charging points.

Conservative-run Westminster has a current total of 1,059 charging points, 400 more than any other London local authority.

There are plans to install a further 500, including a trial for commercial Electric Vehicle charge points in 2022.

The drive towards electric vehicles is part of Westminster Conservatives’ commitment to make the City Council carbon neutral by 2030 and the City carbon neutral by 2040.
