Supporting the elderly and vulnerable

Suporting the Elderly

Supporting the elderly and vulnerable is a key priority for the Conservative-led Council.

Under Conservative leadership, the Council supports a variety of community groups work in helping both the elderly and vulnerable.

Running excellent adult social care programmes is important to us and we look forward to continuing to support initiatives such as Silver Sunday across our City.

Silver Sunday was launched in 2012, offering a programme of free events and activities for older people in Westminster.  This has now evolved into a national project, celebrating older people and encouraging them to meet new people, across the country.

Our Priorities

  • Delivering value for money
  • Keeping homes at the heart of the City
  • Delivering a greener Westminster
  • Supporting Communities
  • The best start to life for all
  • Supporting the elderly and vulnerable
