Food Waste Recycling - share your experiences

It is now three months since Westminster City Council introduced food waste recycling across the City as they are required to do by the Government. We are keen to understand your experiences of the new service.

Across Westminster there are a mixture of options available. You may have been offered a weekly collection from your doorstep, and if so you should have received your food waste caddy and information about this. Some mansion blocks have successfully introduced food recycling and some have not. For people without a doorstep collection or access within their block, the Council has introduced communal neighbourhood recycling facilities.

Whilst we support the idea of providing food waste recycling, we are concerned that the Labour Council has not provided Westminster residents with the level of service they expect.

If you have any questions about the food waste service, please email the Council.
