Lancaster Gate Matters - Your local action team

In May, people across Westminster will go to the polls to elect our Councillors. Who runs our local Council is incredibly important. We all rely on the services it provides. From local schools to rubbish collection, housing to adult social care, the Council looks after everyone in one way or another.

Our part of Westminster will elect three people to represent us at City Hall. Local people Laila Dupuy and Philip Stephenson-Oliver have joined current Councillor Margot Bright as part of our Lancaster Gate action team, which covers the area to the north of Kensington Gardens, across to Paddington Station.

Together, we have been working hard to improve the excellent local services that we all depend on and have come to expect across our City such as having refuse collections at least three times a week. We are proud of our Council’s long record of providing excellent services for local people whilst keeping Council Tax low.
