Councillor for Vincent Square Ward

David Harvey has lived locally for 25 years and been a councillor since 2010. He lives in the ward with his wife Angela. His priority is to continue to create opportunity within our local community. Professionally, he has created and led successful not for profit organisations and locally based jobs. His Council roles have included cabinet citywide responsibility for housing, education, economic development, environment and communities.

David says, “I am passionate about creating opportunities for people across Vincent Square ward and acting on your concerns about our area, so it remains a great place to live.”

The Council's offer, says Cllr David Harvey "made night after night with our charity partners, includes housing, medical help and a road back to stability."

There was a great display of autumn colour in our local parks including Millbank and St John’s Gardens. 

Once the leaves have fallen "we clear them quickly and cheaply", says Cllr Selina Short.  "Here they are, bagged and ready to recycle and not a hazard underfoot."

Gone - the e-scooter bay at the Millbank Gardens end of Marsham Street has been removed. 

You said that the bay was dangerously positioned, noisy late into the night and attracting other anti-social behaviour.
