Ed Pitt Ford has lived in Pimlico since 2010. Originally from Elephant and Castle, Ed graduated in Physics from Imperial College London and has an MBA from London Business School. He has spent most of his career in energy efficiency and renewable energy and wants to ensure that the council moves to zero-carbon in a non-intrusive, conservative manner that is positive for local people and positive for our economy.

Ed was elected to Westminster City Council in 2022 and sits on the Pension Fund Committee and the Planning & City Development Committee.

Councillor Jim Glen was at the launch of a new micro logistics hub in the Q-Park carpark on Warwick Way.

 

This six-month trial was funded by central Government and facilitated by the Cross River Partnership in association with Westminster Council.

 

The Passport Office moved out of Pimlico earlier this year and has relocated to Canning Town.

A planning application has been submitted to Westminster Council for conversion of the existing building to a budget hotel operation.

The demolition of Stockley House has now reached second floor level. The next stage is to demolish the arch over Bridge Place and so Bridge Place will be closed to all traffic for two weeks from 7 June.

We were very pleased to hear that a significant arrest has been made by members of the gangs unit who were patrolling in Pimlico.

Two people were arrested including one high profile target which should reduce the dealing activity in the area.
