Councillor for Pimlico North

Jim Glen has lived in Pimlico for over 25 years with his wife Claire and three kids.  He is currently a councillor and sits on both licensing and planning committees. Jim served as Westminster’s ‘Cycling Champion’ for the last council – and still works to promote the benefits of responsible cycling across the borough for all residents. Jim is a trustee of the Westminster Almshouses on Rochester Row and of the Westminster Tree Trust.  He is also currently chair of Governors of St Peter’s Eaton Square CofE Primary School.

Jim was first elected as a Councillor in 2018 for Tachbrook Ward before going on to represent Pimlico North after the boundary changes in the 2022 election. He has been working hard to secure many benefits for local people including improvements to Tachbook market, a new community centre for Lillington and Longmoore, more charging points for electric cars, secure cycle parking and working to improve the Warwick Way shopping centre. He will be pushing the new administration to continue with these and other projects across Pimlico.
