We joined Hyde Park community activist and council candidate Zaheed Nizar talking with Cllr Heather Action about repairs to broken pavements in Hyde Park ward.

So Heather, what initiatives have the ward councillors in Hyde Park been taking to sort out broken paving stones and pavements?" Zaheed asks.

We've been speaking to our highways department and asking them to fix broken pavements", Heather explains.

We know that they're a trip hazard. And we are now on Connaught Street, but actually, we have seen issues for ourselves at Star Street which we've asked them to resolve and also Somers Crescent.

Our Highways Team is so efficient, they will be resolved.
