Conservative-led Westminster City Council has been named as one of the top London boroughs for school performance
- In Westminster Years 10 and 11 are now ranked number one in inner London and fourth in the country according to a new Department of Education report
- GCSE results show that Westminster schools are second in inner London for pupils achieving a pass in English and Maths – 74% of pupils achieve a pass compared to 65% nationally
- Our Primary school pupils are also achieving outstanding results with children in Years 3 to 6 now rated fifth in London and 15th best in the country
- In Westminster over 95% of our primary schools are rated Good or Excellent by Ofsted
