Over the last decade, homes and other buildings in the streets near Westminster Abbey, in St James, have suffered severe flooding on at least two occasions.
London celebrated Pride on 1st July. Council representatives, officers and councillors joined the Lord Mayor of Westminster in the parade through central London.
For some time residents in Knightsbridge and Belgravia and the Knightsbridge Association have been raising concerns about the length of time the scaffolding was in place around this site and the advertising screen erected on it.
As in previous years, a maypole was erected in Knightsbridge and Belgravia, Orange Square for the St Barnabas School annual celebrations to celebrate St Barnabas.
The crowd was treated to maypole dancing, singing and musical performances by the children.
In Knightsbridge and Belgravia a new public realm space is rapidly taking shape on Grosvenor Crescent. Secured by condition as part of the refurbishment of Forbes House on Halkin Street, this area has bench seating and a water fountain, perfect for refilling water bottles.
On 20th June the council raised the flag for Armed Forces Day and signed an amended armed forces covenant to commit support to those who have sacrificed in service of our country.
