The Westminster Bangladeshi Welfare Trust (WBWT) hosted their annual Carrom tournament, attended by both the Lord Mayor of Westminster and Cllr Elizabeth Hitchcock.
The tournament brings together 50 or so local members of the WBWT for
Carrom, a game dating back to the 18th century played all around the world. Councillor Elizabeth Hitchcock said:
"The WBWT does fantastic work to support the Bangladeshi community in Westminster and the Carrom tournament is just a small, but incredibly important part of the activities and opportunities they offer to their members".
