Councillor for Abbey Road Ward

Caroline Sargent, a mum of two girls, has lived in Westminster for over ten years. She is self-employed and has volunteered in many roles including as a Westminster Health Champion and representing claimants at the social security and employment tribunals with a legal charity.

Caroline says, “ My priority is to make sure that local residents’ voices are represented and heard at City Hall, and Abbey Road remains a great and safe place to live and work.”

Abandoned bikes in Abbey Road

Air quality remains the number one issue for local people and as a result we are seeing an increase in cycle usage and ownership of bikes however with this we have also seen more bikes being abandoned.  Recently we had removed an abandoned bike in Wellington Place and Aberdeen Place.

It is always amazing to us that local dog owners go to the trouble of bagging up their dog's excrement, but then dump their little parcels in the footwells of local trees along our footpaths.  

THERE IS NO DOG POO FAIRY!  PLEASE BAG IT AND BIN IT.
